In March of this year, Display Pack was audited by a third party auditing firm on behalf of Kraft Foods—the second largest confectionary, food and beverage company in the world. The audit was conducted to evaluate Display Pack’s food safety processes as they relate to Kraft Foods Supplier Quality Expectations requirements. The two-day audit evaluated Display Pack’s Business Operating System and ability to safely manufacture, warehouse, and deliver, consistent food packaging for Kraft Foods. The audit results were forwarded on to Kraft, and in April, Kraft Foods designated Display Pack as a Kraft Foods Certified Packaging Supplier. “The intensive assessment of our business operating systems by Kraft Foods confirms that we have an excellent system in place to ensure the quality of our products and services, and further affirms our commitment to technology, processes, and internal and external environmental stewardship,” said Mike Tappy, Display Pack’s Quality Manager. “We are looking forward to the opportunity of providing Kraft Foods with the same innovative and quality packaging that we provide for many global companies.”
